[GreenKeys] Heavy Metal, Etc.

Greetings,

I'm new to the list. I am currently involved is setting up a WWII
Signal Corps display at The Radio Technology Museum at InfoAge located
at the site of the Evans Signal laboratory in New Jersey. See:
http://www.rtm.ar88.net/

Part of the concept is to emphasize the important role played by
wire-line communications to include teletype. We have a Model 19 we're
resurrecting, and couple more in storage, so we should be OK with hardware.

We'd like to set up a meaningful demonstration to capture the
imaginations of young people. It would be really cool if we could text,
tweet, belch, or whatever it is they do with computers and cellphones
from a mechanical device.

The "Heavy Metal" software package sounded like a good place to start,
but when I visited the website, I found the links to the actual software
to be dead, and the dates suggest this was something that happened 6-8
years ago. So, I'm appealing to the TTY experts for suggestion as to
how to proceed. Any help appreciated.

Regards,
Al
