I sit here reading these posts about news service feeds - 
and I'm
absolutely amazed... are Sherry and I the only two here old 
enough to
have actually received such feeds - and still have copies of 
them?
Admittedly - we didn't keep many - but still - enough to 
have the
"actual format" for many of the services...   When we were 
in Guam and
had our system set up - (Mar 1973 - October 1975) - we 
received hundreds
of news stories from UPI and Reuters; along with many from 
AP and
several "foreign" services.  I'll have to dig them out - 
I'll post some
scans of them.
