Hope it works out, you need that m35... in the old days, you could just pack
it in boxes and hand a couple of twenties to the skycaps. That worked for me
once on United out of Denver with a model 19 (w/o table!).

I left the guy v-mail.

If he still has the machine I'll see if my brother can rescue
it and hold it until next year when I drive to NY.

He works for an airline, in the cargo dept. Maybe he can ship
it to me for "a reasonable cost"  :-)

It would be rather ironic if I got a machine from a place so
far away and for freebees, too!
