[GreenKeys] Flooding the market?

Steve, I don't think I took the time to e-mail you and let you know
that I got the old wooden wall crank-phone operational, at least the
bells are ringable. The generator set had two cracks that were not
repaired properly, which caused the rotor to drag on the magnets.
Through your e-mails I was able to locate a replacement. Also the
earpiece diaphragm was missing, and the same fellow had one of
those for sale. I have not yet installed the "network" to make the phone
totally operational because I still don't trust my repair skills, but I did
want you to know that I appreciated all the guidance you gave me that
allowed me to do as much as I have!
I've never heard of the "Eiffel Tower" phones, but will make an attempt to
find a photo on the internet so I can see what they look like. I have a
very
modest collection of old phones, perhaps a half dozen or so, but this phone
may catch my eye and then I'll have to buy one!
The one phone I'd like to add to my collection, but I have not found one
that
is affordable yet, is a "candlestick" phone. And yes, those crazy
collectors
seem to be willing to pay almost anything for one of them on eBay!
Thanks VERY much again, and 73, -Web (WY3X)

This would give many people pleasure and would also show the falsehood of the New Golden Rule: "He who has the gold, rules," as applied to collectibles.
