Hi All:

I am looking for a dozen or so #313 subminiature bulbs
(#313 MINIATURE BULB BA9S BASE - 28 Volt .17 Amp T3-1/4,
Miniature Bayonet (BA9S) Base, 3.5 MSCP C-2F Filament
Design, 500 Average Rated Hours.)

These are used as copy lights in the AN/UGC-504V and AN/UGC-
136AX military teletype/printers. Those in all but one of
my machines are burned out.

Speaking of those machines, I ordered and received two more
units (both missing their print heads) to use for spare
parts (bulbs burned out, too), and received them last night
courtesy my trucker friend.

I have used parts from one of those to repair the logic
problem in my first unit. Both of the complete units appear
to be working very well now.

One of these spare parts machines is in exceptional shape,
and I am hoping that I will be able someday to find a print
head and cartridge for it. I do have someone in mind to
receive it. Thankfully, the print heads are both good on my
two operating machines.

Over the past couple of weeks, I have placed quite a bit of
information on these units on the above page, including the
wiring of the power connector, etc.

I still haven't found a manual for them, so if anyone knows
where one can be found for either version (since both are
the same), please let me know. When I do find one, I will
PDF it and make it generally available if that is ok with
the person I get it from.

I would love to hear from ex-military tecs who worked with
these units!

Thanks,

Dave
