While I was using a cheap "over-the-waste-basket" paper shredder I was  
thinking that it might not take a lot of engineering know-how to  
covert it to slit tape.
Perhaps combine it with an 8 mm movie film editor or a spring driven  
tape winder..?

I might have those wrenches.  Perhaps you would like to trade for the  
Model 12 ?

To my friends who know my situation, the shop is finally constructed,  
the
first of the 2B printers is operating (lubricated although not  
clean).  I
will work on the Model 12 in the summer...
