Hi All:
Sam Etler has scanned and posted an 1950's SNET sales
document which had a very interesting section on teletype
and teletype rates:
This is an interesting SNET sales guide from the 1950s.
It's relatively large, 192 pages and 33 MB. I thought it
would be of interest to those on the list. Contains the
following sections:
Sec. 1 - Main Station Services
Sec. 2 - Key Equipment
Sec. 3 - Private Branch Exchange Services
Sec. 4 - Auxiliary Services
Sec. 5 - Teletypewriter Services
Sec. 6 - Toll Services
Sec. 7 - Directory Listings
Sec. 8 - Coin Telephone Services
Sec. 9 - Mobile Telephone Service
The large file size is due to a number of photos of the
various types of equipment and possibly the earliest mobile
phone coverage maps I've ever seen. Unfortunately only for
Connecticut, but they're dated October 1954
which is neat.
