I am a firm believer of WinAmp and use it for broadcasting on an
internet radio station. I have also used it for ITTY and have never
had any issues with it dropping out.
If you have to use WMP, just paste http://65.243.191.51:8000 into the
URL, do not use anything after the 8000.

George,
I've been using WinAmp for ITTY, but since you mentioned it had
problems, I decided to switch over to Windows Media Player.
I made Windows Media Player the default player, but when I click on
my ITTY shortcut
([playlist]NumberOfEntries=1File1=http://65.243.191.51:8000/)
Windows Media Player says "...extension (.pls) is not recognized by
Windows Media Player..."
I tried to play it with WMP anyway, but it just gives another WMP
"cannot play this file" error.
I tried Window Media Center, but couldn't figure out how to make it go
out onto the Internet to get an audio file.
Computer is running Windows 7 (64 bit).
What am I missing??
Thanks,
Duncan
