George,

have been copying ITTY 66 wpm for a few hours today. Perfect copy, almost
(99.9%) error free !

Thanks for working on the "European tones". Another problem for us here on
the other side
of the pond is the USTTY alphabet. The quite often used character "$" is
"Who are you?" in ITA2. (shift D)
When copying it with an ITA2 machine (which are 99 % over here) is garbage
printing as the answerback of the receiving machine
starts to send... :-(  Fortunately I have two "USTTY" machines in my
collection that were in use with the US ARMY Germany,
but they are VERY rare to find.

So, if there would be also a way to send this 50 Bauds channel on ITA2 we
would be more than happy here
and I am sure you will have a lot of "listeners". Once you get all this
things fixed I can put the info about
the 66WPM ITTY also on the German language teleprinter collector's mailing
list.
