It is interesting to read peoples impressions of the different speeds.
Over this side of the pond, we tend to talk in terms of baud rates rather 
than wpm and to me, your 60wpm (or 45baud) sounds very slow and laid back.
I think I would be correct in saying that we use 50baud or 66wpm over here 
and that sounds nice.
I agree with the comment about the faster machines and to hear a Model 33 
running 110 baud is very exciting and even frantic as all the DEC guys will 
know.
