I remember the Digital Equipment Corp. field service guys were instructed
to make a mixture of 50% STP and 50% motor oil (I don't remember now if
they said 20wt or 30wt) and use that for Teletype lube.  I don't know
why they used that instead of the official Teletype oil.  And it may be
significant that they only maintained Model 33 machines, no others.

Tell us about where you live - Teletype machines show up from time to
time, either for little money or free for pickup - the big problem is
that nobody wants to ship one.
