Hey guys - I gotta tell yah this:

Back in the '70's I worked for a government defense contractor.
We built communications huts for the Air Force. One of the pieces
of equipment the hut containted was an ASCII photo-reader that
could stream or single-step characters.

I took 8 555 timers, tuned them to the music scale, and connected
it to the reader.

We loaded-up a tape and "read it".

Then, I cut a tape of the theme song of Laurel and Hardy.

We almost wet our pants!!!
