I tried sending the message below early this morning, but
it never appeared on the list.... Hopefully it won't result
in a duplicate!

------- Forwarded message follows -------
Slight ammendment re wiring.... I noticed I had changed
these as I worked on the system....

TTY terminal strip: 3 4
Telebyte 65A: G C-

Although I don't right now have the keyboard hooked up
right now, and dont immediately have time to check it out,
I am sure I will find the same is true with it, with

TTY terminal strip: 6 7
Telebyte 65A: G K-

Incidentally, one thing I noticed.... I originally was
using a 25 pin male to 9 pin female cord to interface with
the M65A along with a gender changer for the 25 pin end.

The other day, I received a 25 pin female to 9 pin female
cord in the mail, eliminating the need for a gender
changer. Hoever, unknown to me when I ordered it, this
cable was a crossover cable. No problem, to use it I merely
had to change over the position of the DTE/DTC switch on
the interface to accommodate it...

It is certainly much neater, but performs the same service.
So, if you try a cord and it doesn't work (as it may be a
crossover rather than straight cable), simply throw the
switch to the opposite direction. This simply swaps the
function of pins 2 and 3 in the interface.

I will updated all with the latest settings when I return
from my teletype related trip to NS this weekend.
