For years I have been recommending ONE LUBE for oil and ONE GREASE for  
grease.

I pulled the typing unit out of my 28 KSR that I use to copy iTTY.  It  
has been over a year
since I cleaned and lubed the unit.  It is amazingly clean and I could  
not find a dry felt
anywhere on the machine.  Also the 60-67-100 gearshift seems to be  
okay too!

Also I have to report myself for taking great care of the M15 typing  
unit but failing to clean
and lubricate the transmitting distributor shaft which froze.  Thanks  
to some memory
joggers from George and a new gear from Rice it is now back in service.

This getting old is not for the faint of heart.
