[GreenKeys] Teletype Model 40

BEWARE!!!!
This Model 40 "tractor feed" printer does not have the
required "type carrier" belt which contains all of the
type pallets. These belts are difficult to find in
usable condition. Teletype apparently used a plastic
material that deteriorates (sound familiar?), turning
the belt into a sticky mess. Even if brand new, they
go bad.
Also, without the cabinet, it would be difficult to make
connections to the printer. Finally, the circuit board
that drives the printer hammers had a lot of problems
and spares will be as hard to find as a good type
carrier belt.
Otherwise, it's a fine machine...

Looks nice and clean, but what am I gonna do with it unless I have an
existing model 40 that needs a new printing assembly? :-/
