One time I was driving from Kansas City to Oklahoma City - I no longer remember the route - I was driving through some _very_ gently rolling country and passed a billboard reading "You are now traveling through the beautiful <somethingorother> mountains of Kansas." Can't say they don't have a sense of humor.
