Just a heads up

if someone considers doing this

- get the item insured for FULL replacement, no depreciation clause
  if no clause your TTY is worth less then scrap.

- have them sign a contract saying they are 100 % responsible for
  damages

- including things like painting, removing parts, etc.

- video tape it running better if you do it with who ever signs
  the contract present. Take good resolution (6-12 MPixel) pictures
  again with the representative.

- make sure who ever signs has the legal authority to do so. Not the
  guy standing at the door.

your item will many times be treated like a prop, basically something
worth about 5 USD/LBS at the most.
