No.

The only question is what is the proper current: 20ma or 60ma.

It has been a while since I worked on one of these machines.  As I 
recall the first M15 I got (a few decades ago) required 20ma.  Some of 
the others that I picked up along the way were 60ma magnets.

Do you know yours is set up for 60ma?
