Right, it is nearly impossible to obtain new gears (and from what I read in 
the manual you need a different motor). Even worse from Argentina!
It is by far, much easier to make a simple speed converter with a PIC.

And about doing RTTY with this beast, well there are many things to do 
before that.. like cleaning it and making it work ;)
Now.. once I do all what is missing, I will definitely want to try!
