Hi!



I am in the same boat as you.? I get married in the 1970s and with kids didn;t have the time to continue on RTTY.? 



Then, I retired 5 years ago and got the time to clean up my M28ASR, sort out my ST-6 that I built in 1970 and 

start-up my Collins T-440 TX and R-30A RX.? All of the gear had been unused for 30 years but was functional after 

a few weeks work.



Then, I started tuing around and found that "everyone" was using a computer!



What a change...but I was lucky because I had the mod kits to add automatic carriage return and line feed to my

M28ASR.? Once they were installed, I was good to go and have so far worked WAC RTTY,?all 50 states for WAS 

RTTY, a total of 218 DXCC countries on RTTY?with 119 yet to work, and all CQ zones for WAZ RTTY.



So, the old gear is still competitive in the pileups and on the bands.
