Several of us out in the western burbs of Chicago decided to put some of the
stuff we’ve collected and saved over the years to good use. We’ve set them up on
145.03 Mhz with auto-start running 60 wpm 170 Hz – F2. I’m running a Model 19
and ST-5/AK-1 combo into an ICOM handi-talkie backed up by a 10 watt amp. A
couple of messages a day come by, but more is better and anyone with in range is
welcome to leave/ get a message. The stations on frequency are on 24X7.
