You would have to run the incomming to a reperf or equivilent to see if 
there are any nonprinting operations after the carriage return.  The 15 
printer is slow to return and it may take two nonprinting operations  after 
the CR.  The old way over the radio was to sent two CR a LF and a LTRS. Two 
CRs were sent incase the first one was missed at the receiving end.   Many 
of the electronic programs will not send the LF as this can cause double 
spacing on the computer screen.  Some receiving programs will automatically 
include a LF after the CR going to the screen.
