Other comments aside, nylon, being slick, isn't a good choice for lacing 
cord as if the harness gets cut, it will easily unlace itself.  Beeswax coated 
flax pulls easily but once it has been in place for a while diesn't 
generally come un-laced around a cut.  Plus the flax cord has a few thousands 
stretch per foot and is far easier to get a tight lace with than something like 
nylon would be.
