Greetings Group,
I am new here,so bare with me if I don't have the correct parlance.
I have been introduced to RTTY by a fellow listmember and I now have
my first machine: a TT-176C/UG in the CW-354/UG case a.k.a. Teletype
Corp. Model 28 in the "skintight" housing. This machine was up and
running at the recent West Coast MRCG meet and what a great
introduction for me into this aspect of Ham Radio.
My first assignment was to strip off all the green "aftermarket" paint
and get down to the original finish of a light grey. This I have done
and it looks pretty good. However the case is lacking a few detail parts:

The copy door has two retaining latches but one is missing. It has three
parts, the latch barrel, spring and thumb screw.

The "jewel' for the margin indicator lamp.

The copy holder that is mounted above the keyboard. This may or may not
be the same as a standard Model 28.

I thought I had a swap deal to exchange a 4 ft. rack cabinet for a 6
ft. one. That doesn't seem to be happening so if anyone in the San
Francisco Bay area has a 6 footer with casters they want to offload I
may be interested.
What goes in the rack: Speaker panel,R-390A,CV-591A,Dovetron
MPC-1000T-II,TT-176C, and various rack mounted power supplies. The idea
being a self contained, mostly Boatanchor multi mode receing setup with
power sources to be wired up to the work bench(s).

Thanks,
            Jay KE6PPF
