[GreenKeys] OIL & GREASE

Someone recommended to me Valvoline 5-20W synthetic oil. It's cheap,
available at big auto parts stores, and doesn't turn into "gunk" over time, like
most natural oils. I've been using that with good results on a Model 15.

Almost anything will work at first. The problem is finding something
that will stay on the parts and not degrade over time.

Grease I'm not too sure about. I used white lithium grease, which is
acceptable, but I don't know if you can do better.

The real problem is applying the oil to all the specified oiling points.
See

for the little oiler I use to get most of the 500 or so oiling points in
a Model 15. These machines really do work better if you follow the 5 pages
of oiling directions in the adjustments manual.
