John,

As I think I said earlier, I've operated and owned 28 stuff but never
worked on it so I don't know whether you can run the selector magnets in Series
with 20 MA or Parallel with 60 MA (as you can the M15 holding magnets) but
what John meant was that whether parallel or series, it matters how you
connect one magnet relative to the other. Sorta like seriesing diodes. Connected
one way they still work as a diode. with twice the forward drop. Connected
the other way, they're open (until you exceed the PIV rating). With two
magnets, wired one way the North and South ends will each be on the same end
and they are magnetically in parallel (regardless of whether they are
electrically in series or parallel) and they will aid each other and work. Reverse
the two wires to only one of the magnets and they will fight each other and
won't work any better with current flowing than with no current.
