Okay ,So I'm working on bringing this model 28 ksr to life,I decided since there 
are so many missing wires in the LESU that, I would simplify things and just hard 
wire AC to the motor, and do the same for the loop current .I cleaned and re-
greased the gears and oiled everything. Now, the VOM is showing not quite 55 ma and 
150v from the hal st-5000 . I then connected the magnet's in series ,and 
nothing ,no click . I then tried one magnet and then the other separately ,Now 
something is happening .Just for kicks I plugged it in  with one magnet powered and 
the machine was running open as it should ,Not printing but,typing as I press the 
keys. at least it's doing something. I suspect maybe something wrong with the Hal 
tu ,not enough current ? ( Not to be confused with "Hal" from 2001, a space 
odyssey.) Something  is not right.I have a dovetron on the way from Ebay ,hopefully 
that is okay.  I Don't like to show my ignorance but, if I don't ask I won't learn 
anything. Take care everybody
