I always liked those early "How They Are Made" movies in school. It was interesting to note, in the first video, that during assembly, that the header skirts were welded to the metal tubes with "50,000 ampers". Must be some welder, ours here run at 110/15A or 220/30A.

I brought home my NC-300 receiver from a friend who borrowed it over 30
years ago and turned it on. My son, the family nerd, wanted to know what
all those things are inside that are lighting up! ! !
There's hope: he and my grandkids are getting very curious about all those
machines in the shack that print on long sheets of paper LOL. They will
probably be spared from the junkyard when I'm sent there! ! !
