[GreenKeys] Keyboard Locked on a model 28 ksr

Gentleman:
 
I have a ksr 28 that is copying ok. I just acquired it
and have been to the Battleship yet to check the manuals.
 
The keyboard is locked and the letter L is down.
What can I check before I get the manuals from the ship/
