Larry I am surprised at that. I have a st-6 hooked to a modle 19 and it
works very well. I also run MMTTY on the computer and the copy is almost
identical under most signal conditions. I don't have the old Heathkit
sb-101 now that I origionally had the st-6 hooked to , but I used to get
almost perfic copy off w1aw years ago. Now I have a Yeasu 757 and Icom 746
pro to do the testing with.
Did you go in to the MMTTY program and make sure the filters, shift and baud
was setup correctly for the 170 hz shift and the frequencies matched ? Also
make sure you do not over drive the sound card.
