Jerry, there's an R-1051 reflector at QTH, which you might want to subscribe
to, as there has been some semi-recent traffic about this issue over there.

The frequency standards should be the same module from B through at least D
and
probably H, although there are some different internal designs as they get
newer.  I am not sure whether the no-suffix R-1051's module is the same as
the others.

It's my understanding that the oven has to be right or the crystal will not
oscillate at the right frequency, or maybe at all.  The oven controllers and
the bridge circuit they use are a known problem with these standards.

The ones Fair Radio has are $ 30, but their catalog says "outputs may need
repair, crystal is checked."  The crystal is probably OK in your unit as
well, so you would be gambling that their module itself will work.  If not,
you're back to square one.
