[GreenKeys] The Andromeda Strain

Hi folks:

I know there was a black-painted 33 in Andromeda Strain, and I always
thought that would be a good way to salvage an otherwise useless cracked
33 cover and rusty stand -- a little fiberglass repair and sanding, and
a nice coat of satin black.

However, IIRC, the paper-in-the-bell incident in the movie invlolved a
35KSR, or maybe it was a 28. Or maybe it was an ASR, I am not certain,
but I seem to recall them opening a pedestal cover to look at the bell.
I have the movie here somewhere, so I'll need to watch it again -- one
of my favorite classic sci-fi films -- my 8 and 10 year olds got to see
it this year for the first time and loved it also.
They had no computing power for special effects in that movie -- great
stuff.

"Five seconds to self-destruct;  four seconds;  three seconds;
...self-destruct has been cancelled."  Whew!

Another good flick with TTYs is Terry Gilliam's "Brazil." "We're all in
this together!"
