I dont have my keypuch around but I do still have ALL my decks of cards from
'66 - '69 at Northrop Institute of Technology... started on the 1620 and
then the 1130... gee, ya had to call an assembly language subroutine to
shift the typewriter ribbon from black to red, or back.... a
'prank-of-the-day' was to slip a CALL SHR card into somebody's deck at watch
the consternation as the typing in red started... I moved 'up' to the C64
and TRS-80 Mod III, and finally to the infamous Wang 2200 MVP mainframe with
it whopping 5 meg hard platters and 'huge' 256 k of RAM (gee, the thing only
supported 16 terminals with 5 in use at all times).. I still use Wang
BASIC-2C a lot since it is so much more powerful and versatile than other
flavors of BASIC... Niakwa makes a pc compatible vesion and there are
BASIC-2C emulators online for those few of us willing to publicly admit we
still enjoy playing with our Wang.....
