It is IF driven, input frequency is adjustable from 450 kHz to 500
kHz. There is no modulator built in it, it is just a demodulator.

I cannot find a photo on their website but the CV-116 is listed at $195.

It is a diversity unit, has two IF inputs which can be used one at a
time, or in diversity with an internal combiner. Each of the two
demodulators has a mechanical AFC setup - a frequency discriminator
drives a motor, which in turn drives a variable capacitor - that way
the demodulator can follow drifting signals. Very cool - three motors.

It is a rack mount unit, maybe 8.75" tall. Once you get it tied down
in a solid rack, you can pull out a drawer (on slides) to get to the
innards. Lots o' tubes.
