Mike,
We need a little more info to try to help you.  Is your multiband radio on 
AC mains or battery power?  If AC mains, batteries (if possible in your 
radio) might isolate you from the computer.  Are you already using an 
outside antenna on your multiband rig, or just a "built in whip"?? 
Sometimes the outside antenna is a help, but not always.  RFI on computers 
is a ham nightmare, and many of our "new, energy efficient" appliances are 
even worse!!
