[GreenKeys] ST-8000A DOA, but it now runs

Greenkeyers,

I received my ST-8000A two days ago, and tonight found time to plug it  
in.  DEAD!

'Turned out to be the plastic power switch - the easiest thing to  
replace other than the fuse. I simply bypassed it for now. It has  
screw terminals and the wires have spade terminations.

Sooo.. the thing is running and apparently responding to button  
pushes.  I'm optimistic.  Tomorrow I'll drag out a signal generator  
and feed some audio into it.

Mine came with the audio in and data out connectors, power cord, and  
no manual.  Someone posted earlier that he'd bought extra pins, (and  
maybe an insertion tool).  I'll be glad to locate the information on  
the part numbers/sources for those pins.  The present connectors have  
only two and three pins respectively.

I am assuming that this thing accepts line level audio input and  
delivers RS-whatever-it-is output logic signals.
