have to guess it was a Vibroplex. 

What I'd want to know is if they have a regular key screwed to
the desk at some inconvienent position wiht the slot to plug the
bug cord into. ;-)

But my question about that picture, is what in the world are those
two things sitting between the Model 15's that her copy is resting
on?

And the paint is a nice shiney black, not wrinkle on the 15's.
