[GreenKeys] Resistors

I really don't understand this on-going loop resistor thing. I was
relieved when the behavior of the magnetic field in an inductor was finally
explained on this reflector. And when I first found out about something
called RTTY in 1954---of course no machines were available---until 1982 when
raising a family displaced ham radio---it was universally accepted that a
little 20 watt rheostat with a value in the range of 2000 to 3500 ohms would
do nicely. How did we lose that knowledge? And if that produced questions
I can hardly wait until the subject of dry keying of keyboard comes up!
