[GreenKeys] Minor problem with my Model 20

I'm inclined to believe that 30wt oil is a bit too heavy for TTY machines,
especially in delicate places like the selector.
There's been lots of discussion on this group over the years about
lubricants, given that we can't get the Real KS-7470 Oil. I've been
using three-in-one motor oil - this comes in a blue and white can
rather than the red, white and black can, and says it is 20wt. Some
have suggested "turbine oil" that you get from a HVAC supplier; and
I found some that comes in a plastic squeeze bottle with a long
spout. Don't know what weight it is, and "turbine oil" seems to mean
a lot of different things, depending on what kind of turbine you
have in mind.
Probably the only thing you need to re-oil is the selector area and
maybe the vanes, bellcranks, and code bars.
I've had some machines that had trouble even after a good oiling.
I took the selector apart and found green varnish-like goo on the
separator plates. I guess somebody's lubricant in the past reacted
with the nickel plating on the plates.
Some have liked the Slick-50 product called One Lube, which I think has
Teflon in it.
