Found the 6-level TTS code at
http://homepages.cwi.nl/~dik/english/codes/6tape.html

The code still uses LTRS/FIGS shift, but now it changes between upper &
lower cases. The first 5 bits are the same as ITA2. The 6th bit gives
access to numerals, punctuation and other special characters.

What was the timing of TTS? Is it the standard 22ms bits & 31ms stop for a
8.42 character??

(ITA-2) with the addition of one bit for the other case. So if you could
strip off the "shift" bit, it could be copied on a 5-bit machine.
