[GreenKeys] AT&T Microwave towers

I watched two technicians installing an antenna on one of the local
cellular masts last week.
Pretty cold work here with zero degrees F and a stiff wind. At least
these towers
don't move.

I had to inspect the MCJR antenna installation on the USS Randolph
while it
was in Norfolk, VA. Let me say It took all of my intestinal fortitude
to climb up
that mast. Getting down was even worse because I had to go out around
the
temporary platform the workers had up there. I earned my crow that
day. A
good thing it was in the spring. Even tied up that ship MOVED.

Don

P.S. My only organ was a Hammond Chord Organ that I rebuilt after a
hamster
ate most of the wiring. I gave it to a church in Wisconsin. That is
as close to
heaven as my organ got.

Here in Illinois we have special license plates for Organ Donors. The
law is
a bit uncomfortable as the EMT techs have the go ahead to start taking
the
organs after only two minutes following what they determine as death.
Both
of my sons have signed up and have decals on their driver's licenses. I
will have to research the procedures before I do the same.

Sorry about all this off topic stuff.

Absolutely - thats what we do, and why we have such
familiarity with the towers.

We own a number of former AT&T and MCI towers,
and lease space to cellular carriers, government, etc.

Its a very rare renter that wants to try using the old
dishes though.
Don't take your organs to heaven,
heaven knows we need them down here!
