John & Jack -

I, too, have a NRC 174 model 1 with a manual - mine also needs a little work. Powers up, but the crt display is very, very wrong.

I've also got a 174 model 2, which is the transistorized version - it appears to work, but I need a manual if anyone has one.

  John,

I have a Northern Radio 174 also. And, I have the manual, somewhere.
Contact me over the weekend and I'll dig out the manual and
give you the hookup info. I have not yet had a chance to
get my 174 going...it needs a little work.

  Jack K0TTY
