[GreenKeys] switch mounting systems

Hi again,

I have noticed that on the ring signal supplies that they all seem to have the same type of mounting dimensions. Example is this E-bay item 200280976107. Is that some sort of Western Electric standard? I remember as a teen seeing surplus "relay racks" being advertised in the backs of electronics magazines, long before there were any such things as network servers and the like.

Just curious....(I know that this is a TTY forum, but there is so much in common between TTY, Telegraph and telco systems.)
