I changed out the 75 WPM gears on my Model 15 in the "mailbox" cabinet. 
They were 91286 & 98287 gears.

I installed 74912 & 74913 gears.  The motor platform required considerable 
adjustment so the gears would mesh "correctly".  Ever so small turning of 
the motor shaft will not turn the main shaft...in other words just a tiny 
bit of play....very tiny.

With the selector magnet pulled in, just the sound of the gears is very loud 
and "grindy" sounding.  They're definitely not too tight or too loose.

Do new, out of the box, gears have to "work in"?  These are loud and I don't 
run it but for a few seconds.  The main shaft is well lubricated and of 
little resistance to the motor.

Any advice is appreciated.
