I have only been learning about teletype since May of this year,  
which started with a Kleinschmidt TT-4A.  From what I have read and  
heard lately, I was under the impression that the 15/19 was the  
backbone of the industry for decades.  And that the 28 was built to  
run continuously with not much more than oil sevice.  I heard  
somewhere that the 26 was not built as well as the 15/19 or the 28  
and therefore could not be expected to run continuously without some  
maintenance.

I would like to hear from people with a wealth of experience, who  
know these machines inside and out.

I also have a 33 and a 15/19, but have never even seen a 26 or 28.
