The open source program VideoLan (VLC) runs on Mac, Windows (all
flavors) and Linux, and plays almost every video and audio format. It
plays files which are stored on your computer as well as audio and
video streamed from servers on the internet.

Flip4Mac software

and you will be covered for 99% of audio/video formats.
