I give this publication our Robert has come up with 5 GOLD STARS...

The quality of the paper and cover-stock is superb and the printing is
as sharp as the CWO's uniform creases!

NAVSHIPS 91503 is a very interesting document as the Remler Company,
who built the unit for the Navy, put just about everything they could
think of in the manual. This issue is Korean War vintage and features
two supplements to the original manual.

The SGC-1A "bible" contains lots of information I did not expect, such
as the general theory of radio telegraph transmission. Of course no
words are left out describing exactly how this unit works.

Loads of illustrations and explanations on how all of the circuits
operate in the unit, pull out schematics, block diagrams, wiring
diagrams, detailed waveform charts, parts lists, and suggested
maintenance parts kit.

In addition to all of the above, the book takes you by the hand with a
clear chart leading you through the setup, operational checks and
operating the unit as designed. Finally there is a list of all of the
manufacturers that made parts for the SGC-1A and their 1951 locations.

Given enough time and parts you could build your own set. Whoever
receives one of these fine manuals will be very impressed with it.

THANKS ROBERT!

Don K9TTY
