[GreenKeys] OT: Rail Road stuff

There's also a lot of us "armchair" railroad modelers. I've been
collecting HO trains for along time and have not had a "layout"
for ages. It was easy to lose interest when I lived in the
Northeast, but now that I'm in Kansas City, I see trains
everywhere I go...gets the creative juices flowing, again.
But...either I have a basement full of Model 28's or trains...
so far, the TTY's have won.
I have a 7-ft tall stack of plastic bins with lots of old
and new HO stuff...anyone want to trade for TTY's or older
RTTY gear?

Apparently I brought a smile to a few faces when I mentioned the
Wather's catalog.
And I got a few inquiries as to whether or not I was into model
railroading.
As I pointed out, I'm a "recovering" model railroader. I used to be
very
involved,
but after a 2nd wife, a house and kids, I sort of gave it up. Recently
I
got back
into it in a small way. I figured, "Well, it's just one caboose" I
think
I'll be ok.
Of course, it's a 1-1/2" scale caboose and I have only 25' or so of
track for it.
I'm terrible with names, so bear with me here. I see there are a few
of you
out there that still "play with trains" a couple of extensive HO gauge
set ups,
and one in particular sticks in my mind, the guy with the switch and
signaling
gear that apparently is playing in the 12" to the foot scale. ;-)
And I thought *I* had too much stuff.
Once I get moved and settled in out int he country, I'll have to lay
some
track between the house and the shop so I can (using the teletype of
course)
send in an order for food and such and run a short "extra" up to the
house and
back to retrieve my goodies.
