Surely you jest? The FCC isn't going to do anything about it.
Compact Fluorescent Lights are here to stay because they are
"good for the environment" (despite the mercury content and
disposal issues when they quit working).
The amount of RF noise from computer power supplies, wall
warts, dimmer switches and plasma TV sets is enormous.
About the only level of EMI RFI testing they do now is if the
test equipment doesn't burst into flames next to a device under
test it gets certified as "acceptable."
And the only reason BPL isn't as wide spread as they'd like,
is because it isn't as profitable as the hucksters claimed it would
be. The allure for BPL was so the power companies could dip
their cup in the lucrative internet service provider money trough.
