About the best lithium "out there" is Lucas Red Tacky grease. It's thin
enough to use a turkey baster to apply it (which is great for shooting
into bearings and such) - yet even when applied (too) heavy on gears -
very little "slings" off... It really does stay put. Unfortunately - the
smallest package it's available in - is 14.5 oz "standard" grease gun
tubes - and at around $5 - it's pretty pricey compared to most greases -
however - no more than we use on these TTYs - that tube will likely
last you a lifetime (and I find new uses for it all the time). It has
both excellent heat and pressure withstand ratings - not to mention i
